APPLICATIONS

  • Developed for use with servo motors
  • Universally usable for water and oil hydraulics

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Stable scraping effect and high abrasion resistance give optimum operational reliability if there is a high abrasive particle content and risk of cavitation
  • Pressure-relieved scraper lip minimizes the frictional force to guarantee good response characteristics
  • Low wear for very long service intervals
  • For retrofits the seals can be adapted to existing installation dimensions
  • Available in any diameter up to ca. 2,500 mm

TEMPERATURE RANGE

From ‑20 to +200 °C

but dependent on the sealing ring material and the O‑ring material in each case.

MATERIALS

IDG standard sealing ring material

  • A12 for the casing and scraper ring
  • 57A for the sealing ring

O‑ring elastomer

  • NBR

Servo motors in hydropower plants normally operate water hydraulically. These servo motors perform the functions of opening, closing and control of shut-off and regulating devices and must be able to maintain the setting position at any prevailing pressure.
