Face seal used for rotary and oscil­lat­ing motion in pipe joints and rotary actuators

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Sur­face easy to clean 
  • For use at low to high pres­sure and low speed 
  • Pres­sure-activ­ated seal energization 
  • Min­im­um coef­fi­cient of friction 
  • For liquids and gases 
  • Does not stick to the mat­ing sur­face after pro­longed shutdown 
  • Dry run­ning possible 
  • Avail­able for any dia­met­er between 20 mm and 700 mm 
  • Not suit­able for pres­sure pulsa­tion due to the open groove

From -40 to +200 °C

but depend­ent on the U-Cup mater­i­al in each case.
