APPLICATIONS

  • Face seal used for rotary and oscil­lat­ing motion in pipe joints and rotary actuators
  • Used at low to high pres­sure and low speed

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Pres­sure-activ­ated seal energization 
  • Very long seal life due to high abra­sion resistance 
  • Min­im­um coef­fi­cient of friction 
  • No chat­ter (stick-slip) at low speed
  • For liquids and gases
  • Does not stick to the mat­ing sur­face after pro­longed shutdown 
  • Dry run­ning possible
  • Non-sens­it­ive to pres­sure peaks 
  • Avail­able for any dia­met­er up to 700 mm

TEMPERATURE RANGE

From -54 to +200 °C (tem­por­ar­ily +260 °C)

but depend­ent on the slid­ing ring and O-ring mater­i­al in each case.
